Abstract

|
Objectives: This study is to explore effect of the visual perception on occupational therapy combined visual perception training program for the elderly with mild cognitive impairment(MIC).
Methods: MMSE-K and MoCA-K were selected using the elderly MIC. Experiment group comprised of 5 and control group consisting of 5, visual perception training programs were conducted with the general occupational therapy program. The program for 6 weeks in both MVPT score were conducted before and after the experiment, and then the changes were compared.
Results: The result of MVPT score showed that the not appear to change in the control group. But statistically significant change in score in the experiment group.
Conclusion: Occupational therapy accompanied by visual perception training program are effect in improving visual perception in the elderly with MIC. Thus, it is expected that more effective treatment can be provide if the visual perception training is added for elderly with MIC in occupational therapy.
